Dr Adesola CEO
Adesola is a speciality doctor in psychiatry and geriatric medicine. She is an experienced physician with over a decade of medical experience and education in Nigeria, and the United Kingdom.
A graduate of Lund University, Sweden where she studied for a Master’s in Public Health. She has a thorough understanding of the issues facing the Nigerian health systems and roadblocks to prevention, care and management of silent killer diseases. Adesola is passionate about leading positive changes in preventive medicine and management of chronic diseases.
She enjoys creative, simple, up-to- date and innovative solutions without compromising professional and personal integrity. She is also committed to contributing constructively to organisational goals with empowered teams.
Apart from her practitioner experience, she is a certified advanced, intermediate and basic life support giver and a protection adviser, An effective physician with a desire to live, love, learn and leave a legacy!
Dr Anjorin qualified as a medical doctor in July 1991 from University of Jos, Jos, Nigeria and he has worked in various branches of medicine both in Nigeria and in the UK. He has had several years of experience in Accident & Emergency, Internal medicine, Surgery, and Geriatric medicine before specialising in Geriatric Psychiatry, providing mental health services for older people. He started his Psychiatric training with the South London & Maudsley Trust in 2000. After obtaining the membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2003, he worked as a Psychiatrist with the older adult community mental team in Littlehampton, West Sussex for over 2 years. He obtained a Masters of Science degree in 2005 from the prestigious King’s College, Institute of Psychiatry. He then completed his higher psychiatric training with the East London Foundation NHS Trust and he gained dual CCT (certificate of completion of Specialist training) accreditation in General Adult and Geriatric (Old Age) Psychiatry in 2010. He did further studies on Genetics of Bipolar disorder at the University College London.
Dr Anjorin currently works as a Consultant with Inpatient services at Prospect Park Hospital, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation. He has had a wide range of experiences in overseeing and developing services for older adult age group as well as having extensive experiences in the diagnosis and management of dementia, cognitive disorders and the psychiatric and behavioural symptoms which commonly accompany various disorders in the elderly.
He is also currently working with Berkshire Memory and Cognition Research Centre, University of Reading as a Principal investigator for clinical trials and researches in Dementia. He also has special interest in Genetics of Bipolar affective disorder. He is a co-author of over ten peer-reviewed publications and he has also presented his research at national and international conferences.
Dr Chuka Egbuchiem
Dr Augustine Chuka Egbuchiem was trained as a medical doctor at the University of Jos Medical College. He was inducted as a member into the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria in 2013, he was then professionally trained in Acupuncture and other Chinese therapies.
As a medical doctor he has practiced as a general practitioner for 6 years and has incorporated traditional Chinese therapies into his practice over the past 2 years with amazing results and testimonies. He is specially interested in management of Spondylosis (both cervical and lumbar), Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Neck and back pains from muscle spasms, slipped intervertebral disc/disc prolapse, stroke rehabilitation, migraine headaches, amongst others.
He is very passionate about his work and believes that empathy, attentiveness and gentleness go a long way in improving patient outcomes.
